The largest innovative medical center in the region for the rehabilitation of patients with musculoskeletal disorders will be built in Khabarovsk. According to the project manager Andrei Yarovenko, the "Academy of Health" will be able to boast not only three swimming pools, but also the most modern equipment, down to specialized exoskeletons, IA AmurMedia reports.
— "Academy of Health" is a multifunctional medical center. Its main focus is the rehabilitation of conditions after spinal injuries, it"s diagnosis and treatment. In parallel, other types of medical care related to rehabilitation for diseases of the musculoskeletal system will be provided. In total, the project provides for the construction of three buildings: the main one — clinical diagnostic, a polyclinic for a thousand visitors and a rehabilitation center, which includes three swimming pools, intended primarily for patients who will undergo treatment here. "Academy of Health" will be equipped with the most modern equipment purchased from leading companies, since we rely on rehabilitation, among other things, special exoskeletons for people with musculoskeletal disorders will also be purchased. By the way, the previously mentioned polyclinic will be fully functional in general medical directions, — explained the project manager Andrei Yarovenko.
"Academy" is built from zero, for this point was allocated about 20 thousand square meters of land in the area of the 1st Regional hospital not far from dialysis center. Due to the difficult terrain, builders for a long time were engaged in leveling the site for the future building, today the construction pit has been mastered, preparatory work carried out, the foundation started, and the walls of the main building are currently being built:
— According to the project, the completion of work is planned for 2020, and the volume of investments is 2 billion rubles. The investor, by the way, is ours, Russian. The object, though urban, but of regional importance, because we are also going to build a boarding house to accommodate non-resident arrivals. Till Chita, such a complex will be the only one, and therefore we plan to cover the entire Far Eastern region. The need to build a boarding house is associated with the very specifics of patients with diseases of the musculoskeletal system — they almost always come for treatment together with the accompanying person and therefore need a room where they can accommodate, — said Andrey Yarovenko.
